Davis, who is a Republican, said being a county commissioner involves more than just managing roads and bridges. He acknowledges that roads and bridges are “very important, of course, and vital to the success of Walker County,” but added that being a county commissioner today includes much more. “It takes being able to manage the county finances and to recruit and bring industry and jobs to Walker County. That is what I will do as the next Walker County Commissioner,” Davis said.

“I’ve been focused on business since I was 16 years old,” Davis said. He started his first business while he was in high school and later sold out to his business partner in order to help finance his education at the University of Alabama. “I took a full load of classes and worked more than 60 hours a week to put myself through college. Those were busy times,” Davis said. “My family taught me the value of hard work from an early age. Those lessons are still important to me today.”

Growing up on a farm also taught Keith the value of hard work.

Keith has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance, banking administration and financial services from the University of Alabama. He has worked in real estate for the past nine years. He is currently a broker/realtor with H2 Real Estate. Lori, his wife of 19 years, is a high school guidance counselor/teacher. They have two daughters, Lilli and Elli.

Aside from working as a realtor, Keith takes an active leadership role at the Church of Christ at Blackwater Macedonia, where he and Lori both teach Bible classes. Executive board member Walker Board of Realtors, Executive member  of the Walker County Republican Party, a member of the National Association of Realtors, a member of the University of Alabama Walker County Alumni Association, a member of Chamber of Commerce of Walker County, a Hope Clinic volunteer and a board member of the Indian Creek Youth Camp, a Christian youth camp for girls and boys.

“I enjoy being involved in these various organizations. I believe in giving back to the community that has helped me be so successful,” Davis said.

“I will put my 25 years of business experience, along with my education in finance, to help Walker County overcome its financial struggles and to help the great folks of Walker County get back to work,” Davis said. “I humbly ask for your vote in the upcoming election year.”
